" Government Muncipal Degree College Faisalabad is an institution with a history of contribution in the field of education. The Colllege enjoys a dynamic reach of multiple disciplines in research and development through its different academic programs. The programs are designed keeping in view our national goals, educational challenges and industry-academia requirements. We offer intermediate, Undergraduate and Graduate programs. The academic departments work under their respective faculties and are committed to impart quality education. At Government Muncipal Degree College Faisalabad, we are endeavouring to resolve current era’s educational challenges through research culture. In order to provide our students quality education, we have not only improvised and revolutionized the academic and research infrastructure but at the same time, we are developing strategies for those who want to excel in their respective fields. Our aim is to develop, in our students, tolerance, confidence and professional competence. It will enhance their personal and intellectual capabilities to face the upcoming challenges of their lives. We offer courses with a commitment to fostering a thirst for knowledge and understanding in disciplines of Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Computer Sciences, Business Studies, Social Sciences, Islamic & Oriental Learning and Medical Sciences. We are trying to provide our students state of the art research facilities through our purpose-built laboratories and modern research equipment. Round the clock, our up-to-date libraries and digital resources are accessible to our students. We keep on updating our academic curriculum to keep a balance between academic programs and market needs. We have developed National and International linkages with renowned educational and research organizations. We are developing linkage with the industry as Faisalabad is known to be the hub of industry in Pakistan. We will build a research centre in this regard. As a Principal, I am committed to providing GMDC community a merit oriented environment, where our students shine in a culture of research.
